These cats scared the crap out of me. They still give me shivers, by the way.
This is a memorial tattoo that I got for my father. When he passed away I knew that I wanted to get a tattoo for him, but I wanted to make sure it was absolutely perfect. Since I loved Harry Potter and found a lot of solace in the series after my father passed, I wanted to use Harry Potter elements in my memorial tattoo. It took ages for me to think of anything that made since, and then one day it just hit me. A chocolate frog card! Since my father’s name was Merlin, it made sense too.
I took the idea along with some chapter art into my artist, and this is what she came up with. I adore it to pieces and I am so lucky to have such great art one me.

This is a little gift for problemsolvingpanda, who requested Star Wars on this blog. I hope you’re not one of those people who are terribly upset by these figurines, but if that’s the case you shouldn’t have requested this on a Disneyblog! :P

Don’t Tell, Show of the Day: After a photo of US Marine Brandon Morgan being welcomed home by his partner Dalan went viral in a big way on Facebook, Morgan issued the following response to the thousands of comments it generated:
To everyone who has responded in a positive way. My partner and I want to say thank you. Dalan, the giant in the photo, can’t believe how many shares and likes we have gotten on this. We didn’t do this to get famous,or something like that we did this cause after 3 deployments and four years knowing each other, we finally told each other how we felt. As for the haters, let em hate…to quote Kat Williams, everyone needs haters, so let them hate. We are the happiest we have ever been and as for the whole PDA and kissing slash hugging in uniform…it was a homecoming, if the Sergeants Major, Captains, Majors, and Colonels around us didn’t care…then why do you care what these random people have to say?
